Rockhampton is a sizable town, quite a lot of industry going on but more obviously it's rodeo town. 7th Feb I arrived in Agnes Water yesterday evening, about 3 hours north of Hervey Bay. The town is teeny with pretty much just one road and a few houses and shops scattered about. Australia Zoo! Taking the free bus from Noosa we headed an hour south towards Australia Zoo, set up by Steve Urwin. The Zoo is huge and took us hours to explore. Free shows and feedings are available. We took advantage of this and headed to watch the main animal show. This consisted of birds, snakes, and most importantly the crocs.
