After my last blog entry on Thursday night, I woke up on Friday feeling very ill and having an allergic reaction to something which caused my lip to swell up and blister. Attractive. So Friday became a nothing day of lying around watching television and resting up for the early morning on Saturday. After an extra fascinating day on Thursday at Boston airport and on British Airways (which was much more enjoyable than American Airlines), I finally arrived at Heathrow at about 10pm and got to my hostel about 1am (but not before I got slightly lost and amused myself by giggling about being lost on a Monopoly board whenever I passed Regent Street or Pall Mall or Piccadilly Circus).
