Hi there, We've been putting in some long days of driving, breaking the 2000 mile barrier on our way down from Colonial Williamsbury in Maryland to Florida. On the way we stopped at Savannah for some riverside beers and Golden Tee, and at Okefenokee Swamp to bag some gators. Then it was off to Florida for some long anticipated sun, and a day on the beach. Followed by a quick tour of the Kennedy Space Centre. Our main reason for detouring to Florida was to hunt out some Manateees, and they are darn elusive! First stop was Blue Springs where they spend about 6 months of the year, but they'd gone and b*****ed off just as we arrived. So it was off to the west coast and Homosassa where there are some orphaned and injured ones living in a State Park. Boy they're big!! and fat, but they're particularly cute when they roll over. Anyway, we're on our way to the Great Smoky Mountains now, and have just stopped quickly in Atlanta to get ont internet, so we've got to go - a long drive ahead. Take care y'all, Lou n Josh xxx
