Melaka is rather cool, all the main hostels are in a place just off dutch square, which does look really dutch! There wasnt much in melaka but i did get to meet up with an old friend Andi :) Went to a Sikh temple one of the night for food with the hostel, what a strange experience, its free to go in but you should make a donation, you had to where long trousers and a head scarf. But the food was amazing! Sooo goood! After the food we did have to wash up though to show our respect. In Melaka there is lots of little street with little antique shops. Being the wheeler dealer i am i thought id have a look and ended up buying british/malay coin for 1 cent from 1897! How cool. Lastly i went to the Indian night market which was really good with amazing cheap food! Next stop Singapore!
