After arriving safely in the ghost town that is Christchurch, I hopped on the Kiwi Experience bus and began my trip of New Zealand! Because my flight in to NZ was in Christchurch and my flight out is from Auckland, and the nature of the bus pass I got, I had to purchase a flight from Christchurch to Auckland around Christmas time so that wasn't ideal. The way I'm doing it is first of all looping the South Island anti clockwise from Christchurch to Christchurch....
