I left Brisbane after 4 nights, and then made my way to Australia's Gold Coast, to a place called Surfer's Paradise. The nightlife there was pretty full on and intense, so I had a heavy 3 nights there, then hopped on the next bus down to my current location, Byron Bay.

I've only been here one day but I have had a very good first impression of it, and I'll be settling down here for about a week or so. It'll make a nice change from just doing a couple of nights in each place.

I've got all my accommodation booked until I get to Sydeny. As my money is taking me not very far in this country at all, I've decided that instead of paying for accommodation, I'll work a few hours a day for the hostel in exchange for a bed for the night. That should help cut costs. But otherwise I really can't see where else I could cut corners with my cash. But I'll hopefully figure some sort of plan out.

So I'm here in Byron for another 6 days or so, next stop, Sydney!
