Hi all,

Sorry it's been so long since my last post but internet has either been too slow, costly or hard to come by over the past few weeks.

I left Koh Tao for Koh Phangan to spend a few big nights there, including the full moon party which was great fun. After the party I quickly headed back up to Bangkok, then further north to Vang Vieng in Laos for a few days tubing. Tubing is essentially just a big riverside party which starts around 10am and finishes when it gets dark and everyone would head out in to the town to continue. A lot of people have died recently on the river but I can only assume that this is because drugs are so widely/easily available and there are shallow waters and sharp rocks about that people could easily do themselves harm on. However I countered no such problems and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

After a few days in tubing in Laos, I then caught a hefty bus journey in to Hoi An in Vietnam, spent just one day there and rented motorbikes which was good fun. I then quickly moved further south on to Nha Trang which is the place that came most highly recommended in Vietnam and it lived up to expectations. I spent 5 or 6 days there and met some really cool people who I am still travelling with now, and will be until my flight from Bangkok on the 11th.

After Nha Trang I paid a quick visit to Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon where I visited the war museum and visited the underground tunnels used in the Vietnamese war to learn a bit about a war which I previously knew nothing of.

We decided to call it a day in Vietnam after Saigon and headed west to Phnomh Penh in Cambodia where we just chilled for a few days and caught up on some much needed sleep. We also visited the killing fields, did a bit of quadbiking and went to the shooting range!

My current location is further south-west, in Sihanoukville. Although I'm heading northbound to Siem Reap next to spend a couple of nights, see the Angkor Wat temple complex, then head back to Bangkok for my flight home!

I feel that I'm pretty much ready to head home now. I'm missing friends and family a lot. I'm even missing work! Look forward to seeing everyone very soon.
