After a nights stopover in Auckland after flying from Fiji. I'm slowly making my way homewards. I'll be in South East Asia for the next couple of months, first Thailand, then Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. Then it'll be home time! Just a quick update as internet is expensive, slow and my money is evaporating fast, having a bit of a nightmare at the moment but I'll figure it out.

Upon landing in Thailand, I spent 3 pretty crazy nights in Bangkok where life is a lot cheaper and nightlife is much more lively. After experiencing Bangkok for a short while, I took an overnight bus down to Chumporn where I hopped on the express boat to Koh Tao island. I'm still on Koh Tao and have been for the last 10 nights or so, pretty much just killing time here now until my next boat to Koh Phangan which will be on the 2nd or so, in time for the full moon party on the 7th or 8th(?)

Life is a bit more expensive on these islands as they can pretty much charge what they want. After the full moon I'll be heading back up to Bangkok for a couple of nights to sort out my visa for Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia, then I'll take the long haul bus to Vang Vieng, Laos, where life will once again become cheaper. I will have about a month to cover all of the afformentioned countires so I need to be fairly quick on my feet, which means lots of heavy bus journeys. Not ideal, but I've made it this far, so it has to be done!
