Train to sunny Florida!!! Part 1

The storm had dumped about 8 inches of snow overnight! A few of the roads were shut down but I hoped the trains were running on schedule. There were many trains cancelled or delayed when I arrived but thankfully ours was only delayed an hour. I lucked out again with my seat mate, Rose, a 89 year old woman from New York who moved to Florida who was up visiting her family. I of course helped her with her luggage and got her whatever she wanted. Such a very sweet lady who told me many stories of the her past and present! We talked for hours and hours! She was quite down to earth as expected and loved what I was doing with my life and told me to keep on living! She got off the train in Jacksonville and I gave her a big hug and wished her well! It was still quite cool in north Florida, only 9c..... Brrrrr.. Haha
My next seat mate was a 80 year old woman on for a short jaunt to Orlando to meet family at the theme parks, very nice as well!
