Hello, Quick postcard as I am going to take a boat to Laos in few minutes and I think they don't wait for turists on the internet... I left Bangkok two days ago when I did join a tour with eight other travellers which will take us to north of Thailand (Chiang Mai and Chiangk Hong), then Laos (everybody here talks about that country an if what they say its true I hope to get really nice pictures!!!) and in 2 weeks time to Hannoi (Vietnam). We did catch the big River Festival in Chiang Mai and made lots of offers to the river to bring good luck to us and everybody we know...apparently the "good luck offering" is the national sport in Thailand but I guess there is no harm on that! Can't wait to see Laos and chill out for a bit, Bangkok is a must and Kao San road is really good but too bussy for my taste after 3/4 days there...after all I am a countryside boy... Thanks very much to all of you that sent messages to me,since I started travelling I realise that any simple word from any of my friends can raise my spirits big time, thanks again.
