A strange thing has happened, we thought we were getting a plane to Singapore, but in actual fact we have been transported from India to the future by some metaphysical miracle! Well this is our last destination and today is the last day of our 3 month tour of India. Calcutta had surprised us both, we we're not expecting much from the city but have been surprised by the London style streets, pavements and buildings and by the amount of things to see and do. Hello again, we are actually now in Calcutta. We weren't very excited about coming here, however we were wrong. From first impressions the city seems to be really easy to navigate with lots going on and limited hassle. In places the streets are really wide, with tall buildings on either side and traffic that appears to pay at least a little notice to traffic lights and lanes. As you can imagine there are a lot of camels, 30,000 apparently, and also many cows, horses, performing monkeys, tightrope walkers, hawkers and tourists and pilgrims.
