Friday 19th was spent ashore in Acapulco, Mexico. It's a typical Mexican city, quite interesting but a lot of them trying to sell us Gringoes things. Some very nice jewelry about, Mexican silver and Onxy. A pair of earings was bought at, I think, a good price from a jewelers in the old town market.We have had Patricia Neale on board for a while. She, you may remember, is the Oscar winning film star, who had a stroke and fought her way back to a good, but not total, recovery with the help of her husband Roald Dahl. It is her 80th birthday today and she is great to listen to with tales of her life.Two more days at sea now on our way to Los Angeles. The temperature has dropped now about 10 degrees, but still very pleasant.Just hit some golf balls into the practice net. Got to keep my hand in for when I return to reality. Life is very busy on board, and off. Never a dull moment.
