Today we drove down the Florida Turnpike to Fort Lauderdale. A very pleasanr drive with not too much traffic. I was surprised at how much open country is still left in Florida. As a good Floridian I had the urge to concrete it all over and build houses and golf courses everywhere. No, not really, but it will happen!We had good dinner in Tokyo Sushi, great Japanese restaurant just across from the Holiday Inn Express on 17th Street where we are staying the night. If you ever visit here or have relatives here, I thoroughly recommend it. Tomorrow we board the QE2 which will arrive early morning and tie up in Port Everglades only about a mile from here.
