We got a train here it took 17 hours wasnt fun but it had a really nice restaurant on the train and a viewing cart too so wasnt too bad.

The hostel is really nice and in the centre of San Diego. we dropped our bags off then walked to San Diego Zoo it was a really good day and we saw a baby panda which is really rare it was just sun bathing, but i still prefer Howletts.

Today we want down to Tijuana Mexico, it was horrible really dirty and scummy but at least i can say ive seen it. we were there for about 2 hours that was enough didnt feel that safe.

the next day, we went Sea Kayaking with a group of people from the hostel me and Kris shared a kayak kris was in the front and i was in the back sunbathing pretending to paddle! We went into a cave which was really cool but a bit scary when we had to paddle out because all the waves are trying to push us back in we hit the cave wall a few times with me shouting at Kris " go right NO THE OTHER RIGHT!". our guide told us after we made it out that if we had fallen out of the kayak in the cave the current is like a washing machine and it would of sucked us under and who knows where we would be spat out!

we also got really close to some wild sea lions, after this we went back to the beach and i went back out on my own one and capsized about 3 times so maybe Kris was doing something right. it was a really good day. And that night we went out with some english lads to the local bars in San Diego it was a really good night, in one bar i tried a local brewed stout called arrogant b****** (it had to be done) it was nasty and looked like charcoal water then i ordered a bottle of beer it was the biggest bottle ive ever seen and come in a bucket of ice thats what i call service!

the next day was thanksgiving we went to the hostel with for dinner it was really nice and there was loads of food there aswell but the best bit was the homemade apple pie for pudding. Thanksgiving dinner is nice but i still prefer my Mums Christmas Dinner (cant be beat!!)
