Had to wake up really early to get the train to Washington DC todayThe Trains are amazing you get loads of leg room the seats recline and they have even got a bar on the train nice! It takes about 3 hours to DC When we arrive the sky is blue and the sun is shining and we noticed one major thing the people in Washington are a lot more helpful then New Yorkers and one lady got us a map and circled all the must see places and how to get to them. As soon as we were out the station I realised I liked Washington straight away it’s not as hectic as New York and there's no sky scrapers because there's a rule from years ago that says no building in Washington can be taller then the Whitehouse and the Capitol.We saw all the major sights The Capitol where congress meet The White House you can’t get that close because of the security but still goodWashington Monument The reflecting pool Vietnam MemorialWorld War 2 memorial Lincoln Memorial Pentagon

And the Arlington cemetery where all USA soldiers are buried, we also saw JFK's grave and the unknown soldiers grave as well. There is something like 300,000 graves there.

I really liked Washington there are loads of sights to see and it’s really easy to get around.
