Aaaahhh its great to be home! We arrived into Coolie to find alot has changed, probably not all for the best but still its home to me! We tried to check in but the room wasn't going to be ready until midday, not the thing you want to hear when your feeling rubbish. Anyways we headed down to the beach and surfed Spot X and Greenmount, it was real nice size, just about head high with some solid sets coming through every now and again, offshore and only me and ian out! We couldn't believe our luck! Within 20 minutes of our first session we were greeted by the dolphins! Epic!

After finally being allowed into the room I dumped my bags and got straight back into the water! I believe the sea has got healing powers (think i'm turning into a hippy) and it did seem to help!

Not being funny but I came away to get away from Guernsey people and I was pretty shocked to see Deano in the lineup by Greenmount. I mean come on people, leave me alone! Ha ha. It was good to see him and we had a good little surf!

My time in Coolangatta was spent doing alot of surfing and also learning to play Poker which I am really not very good at. I think its something to do with my attention span. The fact that we weren't playing with real money had alot to do with it and I was going all in on the worst of hands.

Anyway towards the end of our stay the surf got pretty epic and we were surfing and then partying all the time! Good times, but unfortunately expensive times, thanks to Chris' expensive taste in food and beer!

All in all I was really gutted to be leaving but I am coming back down in a couple of weeks to see some friends and hopefully bump into someone else as well ;)
