Today we had to get up early for our trip to Peninsula Valdes. our first stop was our whale watching trip. We were given a waterproof poncho and life jacket. We both looked hilarious. We all got on the boat and within minutes we were meters away from whales. It is very hard to explain the experience or even capture it in photos. The boat trip lasted about 1.5 hours. We were really lucky to see loads of whales, all of them had barnacles all over them, Up close they were so much bigger then we ever imagined and you could see the full scale of them when they jumped out the water - amazing.

During the day we saw seals and elephant seals. We had the most amazing time and are so glad that we made the trip down here as its been an amazing experience.

We then had to leave Puerto Madryn to head back to Buenos Aires. Another long journey but we are getting used to them now.
