I hope you are doing fine! Nice to read all your interesting stories! Hopefully you remember us, Mark & Ingrid (the 2 Dutch Tourists in Cape Maclear in September). Already back for 3 weeks, we sometimes still dream of our time in Africa. It is nice to see that we have visited similar places, only then in a slower pace. It seems a big advantage to have your own vehicle there! How are you doing now? I hope you are fine! Enjoy your travel, and looking forward to hearing new stories. And of course the offer still stands. Whenever you are in the neighbourhood, you are very welcome in Maastricht!

Finally caught up with all your latest news. Glad you are both well, happy and still having the time of your life!!!

I am finding it all a bit difficult to get back into work mode after our great holiday..Italy was fantastic. It was also wonderful to catch up with Tom and spend time with him (19 days in all)... saving up for the next trip in 2011!!

So excited to read your latest offerings. I got a flood of excitement reading about Croc Valley, Ngepi, the Falls and so on. There was so much more water at Croc Valley and at Vic Falls when we saw them. And we too listened to the hippos chomping the grass outside the tent at night. Scary! It seems such a short while ago we were there ourselves!! Looking forward to your thoughts on Mozambique - we didn't get there and we'll have to do that and Madagasca another trip.

You seem to be having a great time -jealous, jealous.... By going north at least you are easing slowly into the chaos that is the Big Continent! Russ and I have a new 4WD camper trailer for the Patrol and have enjoyed the first of many future trips in it. At least we are on the road again, even if it isn't Africa!

I dreamt about you two last night... I was in africa having a conversation with you! My interpretation is that I need to find the time to write to you!!!!

Your adventures are extraordinary - for me back in Australia anyway. I become so wistful when I read of the landsacpe and the people. In the slideshow I was intrigued by the people in the village. How was it that you came to help them? How did you communicate? What was their village life like? I had a chuckle at how relaxed you both look! I'm used to seeing Carol in her work gear and Brian clean shaven. I love it!! You seem to be meeting many like minded travellers and no doubt making lifetime friendships. I'm looking forward to hearing from you again. Oh... Moree is fantastic! Challenging but oh so worthwhile and I'm so pleased that I took the risk. Colin is doing famously - as I knew he would.
