I loved your stats: 284 days of travel; 80% of nights camping; 35 500 kms and 17 countries and 23 border crossings.

Glad to see you finally got your visas for Libya. Safe travel and look forward to your views on Libya and Tunisia. We enjoyed our visit and found the war memorials both at El Alamein and Tobruk quite hearbreaking - very emotional moments. Can only say that the roads are much better and drivers a huge improvement over the Egyptian. We have arrived in the UK (a week ago) and weather has improved since our arrival in Sicily in March, so you are bound to have good weather. Good news - campsites are now open in Europe - when we arrived they were closed. Safe travels.

Oh my goodness....the photos of the desert trip to Cairo are fantastic.

How are you two ever going to settle back into mundane, suburban life after this?

Pleased you are staying safe, and still having great adventures.

Sounds like good fun!! (I'm salivating with jealousy) Although, driving thru Sudan?.. you're brave!! I've just been to Kenya (Mt Kilamanjaro), Kampala and northern Uganda, but mainly north eastern DR Congo during Dec and Jan. I didn't see you there :-)

Hello I see Dave beat me to it!!! your trip looks amazing. I was just saying to Paul how adventurous it is of the two of you. Glad you are having a wonderful time - it really make me want to travel again. Thank-you for the lovely wedding card, it was extremely thoughtful of you. We had a wonderful wedding and honeymoon and are now trying to get back to reality.
