Just read your blog of the 24th Feb. Great bike ride!! Katherine I am really really impressed. It was Mike Dalton's 60th birthday yesterday - Tom remembers a good mountain bike ride with him in NZ!

Pancake day yesterday too. Missed you Katherine! Victoria and I had to eat them all as Tom was at football.

Bin fishin today, well all week really, cost me a small fortune down on the Test near Andover. Did ok and have qualified for the English fly-fishing final up on the Tees in Sept, reely chuffed.

Statistically small planes do have a worse safety record than large commercial airliners, unless they are being flown by China airlines, when life becomes like a box of chocolates .. mmmmmmmm!

Must say i've never tasted Panda, however I am open to new culinary challenges, put me down for a panda too - a small red one will sufice if you have difficulty catching a big black and white thing.

Thanks for the latest blogs & pictures, hope all is well. i won't bother putting some dodgy translated phrase in here, my awful spelling would probably just brake the translator :)

almost open tourist season again, which means back to work soon.... ughh. had the re-application letter for chef job at whitley, manager says the GM wants to meet me first, which means going to some recruitment day they're having... group exercises & mindless quizzes, bet i get lumped with the team of dummies.

but i'll play nice for the sake of my old job back, think i'll stay there during the week more tho, cut down travelling. think i'm getting too old to survive on 4hrs sleep a night!

looking forward to seeing you guys in switzerland at the end of the summer. no pointing camers at me tho, i don't want you ransoming me with pictures of me looking uncomfortable wearing a suit!

and if your wondering why the old's haven't put a message up on here yet... it's cuz i haven't shown them how to! i'll try on thursday, but no promises that they'll actually be able to do it!

It was the NBA all-star game last night and Yao Ming was playing. Did you hear much about it?

I prefer small planes - I know they mive about a bit more but every pilot I've evr spoken to (3 in total) prefers smaller planes as they're more manoveurable (sorry for the spelling - just finished a bottle of wine).
