Hi darlings
Glad you are enjoying Hong Kong despite accommodation and expense. Lovely to talk to you on Sunday Katherine! Not much happening here. Sun shining and daffodils coming out though. Off to see another catering company with Victoria and Tom tonight. Hope people with you on the tour with you turn out to be good fun. Love to you both. x

Yep - cheers Jonny - 20 metres East impressed the pants off whatserface, as we strolled thru driving hail and sleet in Greenwich Park on Sunday afternoon; can of Fanta to share and a two fingered kit-kat each!
She was in raptures as I recounted - that actually the prime meridian in GPS measurement was 120m West of Greenwich, but only really accurately so once every 8 hours, when the Americans upload the latest individual Epheremis errors to the 24 Satellite constellation from Asenscion Island.
I still have it - eh????
Looking forward to yer blog from HK tinkers, but beware if you should travel to Brunei - don't prof all the Sultans flags that were set out for a World conference - it don't go down too well - well the flags may come down ok like but things get worse from there!
Keep adventurin'

Hey you two,
Just thought I should tell you that I had a marathon game of backpacker with Ellie amd our respective partners on Saturday night. Jon would have hated it as someone read a card wrong and interpreted correctly far to late on! (I remember the tears when that last happened!!)
Love the backpacker references and tales of saddle soreness,
Sue Pollins
Hi guys - high pitched whistling stops the snorer in his tracks!! I should know ...... ref U. Martin!! Really enjoyed reading blog - can't believe it is nearly a month since I sent a message - sorry!! We've been busy getting ready for Nick and Andrea and the boys moving to Australia. Sad times and very strange to think that they will be on the other side of the world permanently!! They finally go on 17th march so we are counting the days and trying to make the most of the children whilst they are here. We're off to Hever Castle tomorrow for a potted history of Henry VIII and Co!! Also Winnie the Pooh shop in Hartfield!!
Glad you are having a great time - enjoy the civilisation - keep the blogs coming.Lol xxx
Jonbarnes
p.s. tell her 0 degrees isnt actually where it says it is, but runs through a tree some 20 metres east... that will impress her!

Hi Folks,
We made it to Hong Kong! It's very expensive here but totally worth it! We are staying in a 12 person dorm with a man who snores incredibly loudly... Currently in the public library but its just about to close so not enough time for a blog entry.. i promise there will be one soon. Lots of love to everyone and Happy birthday to Teresa for Tuesday! xx

Hi tinkers,
hope yer both grand, pretty naff pictures of Nanjing so far, sure to be some better ones soon eh?
Heard of Nanjing I think - is that where Olga Korbett came from? She was quite a swinger in the 70's I recall!
Got offerred another 2 years in the job this week - may have to accept - due to you b*****r's bleeding me dry!
Got mesel a whopper today - 7lb 6oz, now in the frezeer for a bumper barbie, got a mate coming along, he's bringing a big crowd and 2 loaves.
Off to London toon again the'morra, to a quaint village called Greenwich, think they have a meridian, anyway, whatserface has a thing for bloody greenwich, much like her thing for Godalming!!!!!! So we're off to see the 0 degrees , which isn't Charlie jug lugs fave band.
Sorry, just been expelled from the beeg brutha hoose for luggsist comments,
stay safe, love Dad
Dad
Tinkers,

Dad
Katherine, Jon,
Thanks for my Drunken Pandas pic tinkers, most appreciated. Remarkable similarity to mesel and Ed Macy last week after several scoops in a friendly bar in a village called soho, it was so friendly they called it gay????? We were somewhat overdressed, as tight white t-shirts seemed de-rigger!
You's seem to be carrying the British Cycle Banner admirably, well done! Chris Hoy sends his regards but says he could've done with a hand in China a month or 2 back.
Booked yer Swiss flights, LGW to Geneva, J out with us on 22/09, K out on 27/09. All return on 01/10.
Digs are a dingy hostel, well actually it's 2 dingys tethered loosely to a pier on the local lake, views n fishing are great.
Bl***y hell, i've just seen the sum they expect me to get right, best get me socks off.
love dad

Happy St. David's Day you lovely pair of Daffodils.
In 2005, Welsh exports to China stood at £178m, having quadrupled in just seven years.

To quote your blog dated 24th February: "The street leads to the Li river and an unbelieveable view - i'm going to say to everyone now that if you have to go somewhere before you die it has to be here!".
...I'll add it to my list...
- Legoland California
- Billingshurst
- Hospital
- That place in China that Jon & Katherine suggested.

You would have enjoyed Pancake Day (I like the days which have foodstuffs assigned to them...it helps to avoid the whole 'what shall we have for dinner?' shenanigans. That isn't to say that we just had pancakes for dinner...although Tor probably did. In fact, I was at football (Albion's performance was very flat) as Pat accurately reports below. If I get home on St.Patrick's Day and find Tor had overdosed on Guinness, things could get very interesting.
What did you have for dinner? Was it nice? Think I'm hungry; I may have worms (the condition, I mean, not for to eat for dinner).
