Well we have the last day in Bangkok with a pampering session. Rachel has her mop chopped and I go for my finger nails done. Its so cheep that its hard to resist and I have a foot massge aswell. In the evening we are going to one of the swish rooftop bars at the top of the sky scrapper in Bangkoks central district. Its called the moon bar on the rooftop of a swanky 5star hotel and when e pull up in the taxi and there is a ferrari parked outside we start to get doubts whether they will let us in. But after dodging the door people, the receptionist and the waiters we get up to the top on the 56th floor and sit down for a cocktail. Its world appart from the Bangkok we are staying in and have been out in and its definatly living the high life. Its an expensive drink at over 10 quid so we just have one, admire the veiws then head back to Khoa San road. We grab a Tuk Tuk on the way out (so glad we didnt get one on the way in) and the driver is mental, driving at 50mph don the streets of Bangkok. This aint good in an open air Tuk Tuk with three wjeels and we stop next to a Tuk Tuk with three lads in which we then proceed to race home. Me and Rach and screaming in the back while the driver seems to love this and go all the faster. We land back in record time and with motion sickness so grab a last Chang beer of Thailand before bed. We check out in the morning and spend our last Bhat on tat and head to the airport to say our sad goodbuys.
I fly to Hong Kong and make it to the hotel in the eveing so bsically bed down for the night. The next day I go for some sightseeing and walk around, (and no Rachel I didnt get lost). Down to the harbour to see across to Hong Kong island and its mass of skyscrappers all across the island. Ive never seen a city so high rise and built up. I head up Nathan road dodging the many people trying to sell me a suite or some nock off items and have some dinner. I go to try some local food so sit in a restaurangt full of locals and try to order my food. Welll the menu is in English but there is a stupid tick order form tht you have to fill in and give back to the waitress, and this is in Chinease. Two lads see me struggeling and basically order for me. I get my soup and cant find and chopsticks which a ldy the other side of me reveals are in a draw under my table, I swear you need a degree to eat here. With all eyes on me my chopsticks are going everywhere and the lady then shows me how to use them. I can use chopsticks but in my panic was holding them the wrong ay around which she thought very funny! I ait my noodle soup very red faced and got the hell out of there. In the evening I went to see the light show that happens at 8 and l;ights up all the sky scrappers on the island to music. Pretty cool.
My last day in Hong Kong I am feeling a bit rough, it must be the soup so I amble over to the star ferry terminal to get the tour of the harbour. I hop off on the island and go up to the 55 floor of the financial tower. After passing strick security I am on the 55th floor with spectacular veiws over Hong Kong. I hop back on the ferry to carry on the tour. I spend the rest of the day slobbing in the park and then head to the airport which is where I am waiting for the flight home. Its all gone so fast and its been a blast. I wouldnt change this experiance for the world. This is therefore my lst entry unless I decide to write about happens in Wigan which I dont think will happen. I will see everybody realy soon. xxx
