So on our way to Spain… a short drive down the M3 to Portsmouth and the ferry port for the Brittany Ferry, Pont Aven to Santander in Spain.

We were impressed with the ferry, pretty much on time and although the cabin was quite small, it was clean and comfortable and the public areas, including the dining room, lounges and shop, superb.

We arrived in Santander at about 11h00 (UK/Portugal time) on the 29thApril, day 180 and drove off the ferry, out of Santander and headed south and west to Portugal.

We did briefly debate whether we would night stop on the way but in the end decided to keep going… just under 900km to Cascais in Portugal and we rolled into town at about 20h00. Glad to be spending the night in our own home.
