Been just going around town hitting all of the bigger thrift stores or consignment shops and taking in the beauty out here. Beginning to settled in. Finding the different places to go, church, restaurants, movies, and of course more thrift shops. I think Ruth Ann is on a first name basis with the workers in Big Lots (I could almost throw a stone from our place and hit it). We saw Matt Damon in "The Martian" and thought it was really good. The theater had 13 movies playing (so many decisions, how can one do it) and the one we went into could probably hold everyone in Centralia's AM...

Well, after going out to eat yesterday and then going to 3 different WalMart SuperStores we still couldn't find the airbed that we wanted so this morning we were a little stiff from sleeping on the floor (but all we talked about on the way out was how the settlers made it through mountains and all). At last after a long drive we made it here. We only drove 4 hours today so we could check into the apartment early and get unpacked and begin to get settled in. At least one hour of the drive was through the mountains northeast of Phoenix and was very beautiful.
