Hey all

Arrived in LA on Thursday and met up with Nigel at airport which was great. Then we made our way to our hotel in Anaheim which was a rather long trip - big city!! Caught up with Laura and her friend Ginnie on Thursday night. They had both arrived from Auckland having scored mega cheap return flights through Grab-a-Seat and coincidentally timed their stay at the same time as ours- crazy huh! Yesterday the four of us went to Disneyland and had an awesome time. Its such an amazing place and weather was nice, not too hot but just right. Stayed out in the sun all day (did have sunscreen on) and only got a little bit of pink on tops of my shoulders! The queues weren't too bad and so we managed to get around most of the things we wanted to see. The rides were excellent and its just such a happy atmosphere. Loved the Tower of Terror, the rollercoaster and Space Mountain, think Nig preferred Pirates of the Carribean (wasn't so scary for the poor boy!!) And the fireworks display was outstanding, its hard to believe that they do it every night - must cost an absolute fortune. Gonna go to Block of Orange to check out the shops today I think so hopefully I can find some new singlets as I'm gonna need em. Then on Monday we start on our 4 day cruise to Mexico and back which I'm really excited about. SO all is going well.....hmmmm except for the food - so fatty and sugary, really hard to find a nice healthy meal. Happy Mothers Day Mums.
