We have spent 7 days in Ko Samui already, and are leaving here on the 12th (thursday) to go to Sydney No Jade, we are not in fiji yet, that will be after oz, he he and yes mom we are eating the right foods!!! So far no diseases for us (fingers crossed)
The island is beautiful, and extremely hot - its been like 30 degrees at least everyday, and has rained most days but mostly on the evening, which is nice and refreshing, and only for about 20 mins at a time!! We have had gorgeous strolls along the beach at night and have had dinner sat right on the beach which was lovely eating our rice and jo with her burger and chips lol looking out on the ocean, via candlelight! The people here are really friendly, there are of course still the odd one or two hundred prossies but its Thailand what do u expect?? i would really like to know how much Baht they receive for their services, how much do they accept to degrade themselves! Anyhoo, as u can see from the piccies ( when i finally manage to upload them - stupid internet wont let me) we have got lots of the beach ( which the pictures do no justice) and we even got one with a cute little monkey which put his arms around our necks! Today we went out into the sea and did a spot of snorkelling, which was great - the first time i had ever done it, and i really enjoyed it. Jo found a little spot where there were lots of cute fishes ( clown fish included - think Nemo!!) and bought me along to it, and i had a little look. it was lovely!!!! We have taken lots of pics of the fish but its not on a digi cam so we will have to take these to get developed and then scan them into the comp or whatever so you can all see! I am looking forward to snorkelling in the great barrier reef, that will be amazing!! Apart from this, we have just spent our time relaxing and being book worms! i am readin the historian ( THANKS MOM!!!) love it, and jo is reading the beach ( THANKS SHELL!!!! ) which i will be readin shortly after! i have been having lots of drinks here that contain Collagen! so next time you see me, i shall be looking more youthful apparently! LOL
Unfortunately we havent been able to go to any other islands cus we have had to keep it on a real budget here so we have enough to get into oz so no mushroom omlettes for us zo! right then im off, will write again soon!! love u all loads, and love the messages pls keep writing them Xxxxx
