As I jumped on the Greyhound I recognised Paul, a guy I met at the Blue Parrot just before I departed Sydney. He came and sat next to me and we amused ourselves on the journey by catching up and impersonating and mocking Sean Connery in Entrapment (a terribly clichéd film) on show onboard the bus. It turned out that Paul and I had booked in to the YHA hostel in Noosa. He was on the Oz experience but had missed his bus and was on the Greyhound. His friends from Oz Experience were already in Noosa and he was meeting up with them on arrival. I joined him and his clan of females for the meet and greet, some drinks and rounds of Uno in the bar, and ultimately their trip to Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin's zoo) the next day where numerous calls of 'Crikey', 'Bonza' and 'Smoking Wallabies' were the order of the day. That night we walked in to Noosa junction for a spot of dinner, and then headed back to the bar at the hostel for a couple of bottles of wine and a few more games of Uno. The following day we met up for breakfast, said goodbye to a couple of members of the group and then I took a walk around Noosa. I joined the two Harriet's and Paul for lunch and then said goodbye to them and spent the afternoon in the National Park spotting surfers and sleeping Koalas. In the evening the hostel put on a didgeridoo workshop and I learnt how to play it, with more success than I expected but not enough to sustain the drone as I couldn't get the hang of circular breathing.
