hello! so i said we were gonna go to langkawi - well we did but, er , left straight away - and went straight to thailand - figured as weather wasnt great to do that - so got another ferry to satun in thailand. it turned out costing quite a lot as ferry is loads compared to buses. wooops. at least we saw it? oh well - anyway decided to go to phuket - which had to be the longest bus journy in the world - mum will be please that we bypassed all the terrorist stuff in south eastern thailand. got there really late - and this shifty guy told us all guesthouses shut. so we ended up staying in the spare room of this family - for a lot of money - leeft straight away in morn and went to nice hotel. was ok  and it did shut at 10 but others didnt - the man lied! oh well. stayed one day in phuket town - went for a walk round - it rained again. so got fed up and didnt go over to petang beach on teh other side of the pensinsula which is suposed to be lovely. so anyway - on impulse decided to go to koh phi phi - absolutely beautiful island.
