hey, im really confused - have i said anything about what ive been doing out here and stuff? ive just checked on my last one and it seems blank?! im sure i wrote absolutely tonnes but there must have been a technical hitch of some sort or other oh dear.

so ill start from the beginning. flight was horrible - i cant think of anything worse. seriously! onyl because of the length of time you have to sit still for and i fidget so much its silly! oh well. on got here tue night and went straight to our hostel - which is ok i suppose. people arent as friendly as they are supposedly which is frustrating. everyone kinda already seems to know each other? crazy. second day and due to jet lag ended up sleeping till after lunch - bit gutting as it seems like a waste of a lovely day. went for a walk around the botanical gardens which are absolutely lovely! made a wish at the wishing tree and stuff. saw the bridge and the harboru too- crazy! its a sight that seems to be familiar to everyone but its a little unbeleivable when your stood in the shadow of it! so yeah that was a good first day and did lots of walking and stuff. second day was kinds cloudy so we decided to go the zoo - woo woo! was really good fun and saw all sorts of crazy stuff which was cool. had to get a ferry across to the zoo which is a strange concept to get your head around but actually not really at all when it comes to it - kinda juts like getting a bus. btw, the tubes( trains) are double deckers - thats ace! after the zoo, we went to the aquarium as its open late so  we had a very back to natura day. pretty knackered so didnt really do much that night. went down to the bar beneath the hostel for a few. i endeed up not drinking - i dont know whats wrong with me!

next day, though we would man paddys markets which is certainly an experience if nothing else. gotta do it tho, went for a gander round the shops and stuff as well. all good. :) even though i do hate shopping. haha headed back to hostel. we keep having to move rooms which is a proper hassle. god!

going out with people from our last room tonight. new room people are pretty loud, think theyre hilarious and incredibly rude. cant be arsed with them! ended up staying far too long at the side bar - especially as im not drinking coz im on antibiotics - guitting. it does mean im saving money and waking up fresh as a daisy tho! went down to darling harbour and sat in a bar looking out on the harbour. was ace - absolutely amazing actually. pretty cold by the end tho!

as for today - due to daves large hangover (excessive drinking) got up late, went over to manly to check out what johnnys been raving about. its pretty nice but as gets dark pretty early ( i keep forgetting its nearly winter) was darkish by the time we got there at half 4! wandered round. came back. cant decide whether or where were going to night. im quite up for seeing something a bit different but qwho knows.
