Day two for me.

Gosh , I think it is Saturday here. I guess I should ask huh. What a busy day. Started at 8AM and just getting home now. I have walked more in these last few days than I can ever remember. How thrilling to be here and on this trip. I visited Buckingham Palace today (the queen says hi) what a place. It is fascinating to see a landmark like that and also a place I have seen so many things take place on tv. It was swarming with people and as I sat on the grounds taking it all in my only wish was that I spoke a lot of different languages. Conversations of every dialect imaginable were going on all around me. Thank goodness I took a bus tour that went all over. You could get on and off where ever you liked. I mostly wanted to have tea with the Queen and catch up on the gossip lol. But I saw so many places and the bus had running commentary on just what we were seeing. It was a double decker bus so I sat on top and had a great view of things. There was also a river cruise included so I also did that which was fun.

They have old fashioned red phone booths everywhere but I did not see a bathroom anywhere. I took your advice Nancy and visited a McDonalds. But that was about a block from my hotel on the walk home, so needless to say it was a long day. Most people are so fashionable here. Christina you would love looking at all the cute outfits the young people wear. I have met a few people along the way. Not members of my tour group yet but just kind folks here and there. Mostly it was when I asked if I could follow them to a certain spot because as most people know about me I have NO sense of direction.

So far I am really impressed by this trip and tour company. They always have someone ready to help you. The bed is like sleeping on heaven and the complimentary breakfast was lovely.

Well I will sign off for now. I have to go downstairs to get online and I am really looking forward to a shower and bed. Wake up call is at 3:30AM. Yes I wrote that right. I will be a mumbling idiot at that time for sure.
