Ladies & Gentlemen,

Please raise a glass with us tonight - our visa extensions have been approved! We can now legally stay and work in New Zealand until 4th June, though in reality we will stay here until 30th April, then fly to Bangkok to spend 2 months exploring Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, before landing back at Heathrow on 30th June. Let's hope that summer is in the UK by then!!!

So now we can relax and enjoy a few more weeks in Wanaka, working at Top 10, exploring the beautiful countryside in the area, with a couple of excursions to do our Milford trip and we're also planning a trip to Twizel and Tekapo to see the rare black stilts at Twizel and to visit the observatory at Tekapo to learn about the night sky over New Zealand. Excellent.

Tonight Winston & Robyn have give us another treat for our dinner (after the delicious venison smoked salami they gave us last week) - an entire trout that Winston caught over the weekend and has smoked for us. It looks and smells divine! So we've bought some new potatoes, lemon, salad and a little bottle of Nelson Sauvignon Blanc to celebrate with!
