Hello everybody!

Just thought we'd better quickly check in to let you all know that we haven't disappeared off the face of the earth (or into a vat of wine!), we've just been worked to the bone all day and night and haven't had the time to update the blog for ages!! Actually, that's not strictly true! We've been having an absolutely wonderful time here at Ash Ridge Vineyards, where we've been looked after incredibly well by Jon & Emma Peet, but the time leading up to the harvest was a little frantic and we have worked hard during the day, and our evenings have been a rather wonderful mix of good food, lovely conversations and wine tastings. And after that we've only been fit for bed! C'est la vie!

Anyway, I've just updated the Ash Ridge Vineyards and Ash Ridge Vintage 2008 photo albums so that they are in order and have little captions on them, and I was going to write a long blog tonight, explaining the wonderful time we've been having, the amazing stuff we have been learning about wine and the whole wine growing & making processes. But Su & I have just spent the best part of an hour trying to rescue a poor little mouse from under the fridge that Coxwell brought in to play with and it's now time for bed. So hello and goodnight from us - the longer blog will follow shortly!
