We had a lovely time in Sydney. The weather was really good and we were well looked after by Ingrid and Loui. We has a few simply relaxing which weirdly was much needed. Ingid took us up to the Blue Mountains (so we're told!). The weather was very English... wet and cloudy. We have renamed them the White-out mountains as you could see nothing. We did a few little walks, had some cake and looked about (thanks Ingrid).
Jo's Birthday fell on Easter Sunday (which apparently only happens every 156 years). We all had a nice birthday breakfast at Ingid and Louis and then went into the city. We took a ferry over to Manly and spent the day eating ice cream and laughing at people learning to surf (we're allowed as i'm sure people laughed at us). We had already booked to do a Discovery Climb over Sydney Harbour Bridge at sunset. We put on our silly all-in-one baby grows and set off. The weather was beginning to change but you could still see lots. As soon as we got to the top it started to rain! As the Guide was just taking our picture Matt proposed and then he... proposed again as Jo hadn't heard. The answer was obviously yes. Nice birthday present! Afterwards we went for a nice dinner out and had the most western food we could before we left for Thailand... Pizza!
Lots of Love
Jo and Matt
