Hi everyone! After our last blog we visited Pak Ou caves. These are natural caves in which Buddhist shrines have been liberally sprinkled. We arrived in Luang Prabang after a three day journey from Thailand. We left Chiang Mai and took a mini-bus to the border of Laos, where we then took a tiny long boat over the border and the Mekong River. It was easy to get a visa for Laos but all very laid back considering you were crossing a border! We spent the night Huay Xai just inside Laos.
