On our way to Queenstown we took the inland scenic route so that we would pass Mount Cook (highest mountain in NZ), we had taken a drive out this way from Christchurch earlier in the week but due to the weather being so misty we couldnt see it!!! So we arrived in Christchurch after the worlds shortest flight ever... albeit with some turbulance!! We had left sunny Auckland to a not so sunny Christchurch! So Craig was a little bit upset! He He! We checked into our accommodation which was a gorg hotel called the Copthorne which we got a great deal on working out the same price as a regular hostel... so was very chuffed with that!!
