Ok so I am offcialy in Love with Chiang Mai and i really dont want to leave tomrro. Wish I had more time here!!!

Ok so last time I wrote I had just chopped some ones finger off at the cookery school. So after I headed to the bar where Richie was playing and got chatting to some more locals, having a few beers and chilling out. Richie was awesome and was belting out the tunes! was so much fun. We were chatting with this guy called Craig and he invited us to go and play american softball. So Richie arranged to meet the day after (yesterday).

So I got up yesterday and decided i needed to see more of CM and headed off for the walk of the city. The wats here are so diverse and very spiritual. I stumbled across a funeral that was taking place. So more walking and coffee stops! got some bargains for my Ipod! was just so nice taking in the vibe of the city. such a wonderful place! So i met Richie in the afternon hopped on his motorbike and headed out for some lunch with his friends! Was very funny! Then we went and found "the field" where there must have been 16 american blokes all for some reason or another have moved here! So Richie showed me how to catch in a glove and we were having a play around. When they picked teams, was like in high school! hehe. you could tell they were realy chuffed they had me haha. so I was put on the out field and what do you know i caught a 60yarder. It was so very impressive even though i do say so myself and i got a little whoop from the guys. i was smiling from ear to ear and jumping up and down.... very cool hahaha! batting wasnt as good but i hit it and got a run in. so overall i was quite chuffed i hadnt sucked at american softball! Richie was pretty damn good its the american thing in him i reckon. He couldnt believe i caught it was very funny!

Ok so we then grabbed a coffee and i showered and cleaned up before heading out for a manicure.... just love those! Then Richie picked me up on his bike and we found this great restaurant, with really good food. we were having cocktails and chat chat chat. was so nice. Then we walked to the Sunday walking street and bought some goodies. Richie treated me to a foot massage. was so nice. We jumped back on the bike and the heavens opened so we were drivng along with the brolley up... not at all dangerous (hehe) and suprisingly common here! we stopped off at a bar had some drinks and then he took me to this really far out of the way bar where this famous guitarist jams every night! It was incredible this man could belt the tunes out and i was blown away. Was such a nice day and eve.

Today Richie picked me up and took me to a five star hotel buffett....... it was really good! really good! We spent a couple of hours over lunch and then went for a walk in the grounds. He dropped me off a little while ago and i fell asleep, all these late nights! so im off to get ready and he is picking me up and taking me out to hear some live music, cant wait!

I leave tomorrow morning for chiang Rai, so its my last night here and i dont want to go...... I found out something weird though. If you fall over three times in Thailand you never leave...... hmmmmmmm one more to go!!!
