Trying to write this for a 2nd time as lost it the first time didn’t save it right Lol.

Left Margaret and David’s house at 9am to drive to Marquette. Arrived 5pm (1hr difference so was 4pm). 1 stop about half way lunch at Applebee’s. I had loaded potato soup yeh loaded with cheese and bacon not much potato and had cheese burger egg rolls (kind of spring roll to me but again too much processed cheese) oh my they love processed cheese here. Margaret and Dave had a lovely chicken and shrimp platter. Martin had a sort of chicken Thai salad. (Soaked in dressing).

Once we arrived in Marquette we settled in to our wonderful 2 bedroom apartment. 1 has a king bed and we have 2 queens each have own bathrooms and we have a lounge and kitchenette.

Then off to catch up with Uncle Alistair, Auntie Margaret and Cousin Beth. More chat and catch up. Then out for dinner at restaurant called Hudsons. It was fish fry night you can eat all the cod you like for one price. We all had the cod except Martin he had a prawn noodle dish in garlic butter. Of course we had to have a serve of onion rings which came in a tower with 3 different sauces. Lots more talk and laughs and a frozen Margarita later. Mine and Auntie Margarets were lime and Margaret and David’s were Strawberry. Then back to our Apartment.

Margaret and I did a bit more chatting then face messaged Kelly and Indie. Indie was so cute she was whispering her answers. Then off to bed.
