Left our hotel at 8.40am with a lovely jolly driver. Wish she had been our driver all day.

Our driver for our 61/2 day trip was “Bruce” I think he looked over 70 oh my gosh. We started by doing a walk around the main Hollywood street. Saw the Hollywood sign from a far a little hazy but saw it. Then saw the Chinese theatre and a few stars. Then he took off no explanation. Apparently he was taking a couple of passengers back to the bus to get thier purses as he had not explained we would stop at a souvenir shop we could get discount at. Then when we saw him I explained we wondered wher he disappeared he didn’t care then proceeded to tell me he had a whistle he would blow (again had not mentioned he had this said whistle he would blow).

We got back on the bus and drove around with very boring commentary. Saw a few celebrity houses well glimpses which I expected. Katie Perry and Isla Fishler & Johnny Depp’s. night club. Then onto Santa Monica Pier. We had a lovely lunch in an English pub. Then went to see the pier. It was huge no time to go on it.

Then onto muscle beach. It was very dirty. Some surf. Two Lovely Italian men on our bus offered Martin some weed supposedly medicinal you smell it all over The place.

Then we drove again by now all of us on the bus thought we would be returning to our hotels. Well no we had another stop pointless one. The Italians had to catch an Uber as had to get to work. We then kept on with more downtown info quite a few times people were asking when the tour was finishing. It seemed that tour that never ends one australian family had dinner plans for 6.30 and didn’t get to hotel til 7pm we arrived back 7.30pm ish. Martin passed on his thoughts to the driver he was in shock.

We had some food at the restaurant by the hotel. Then went to store for snacks. Martin did some washing.
