Ok, so it is Thursday evening, I have not written since ..Tuesday, but we have been going non stop. The internet has also been down so I have yet to write anything.Anyway, a lot has happened in the last two days..I will start with yesterday. We got up, it was freezing and rainy and we had to go to TellaSonera which is the major mobile phone company here. We had a presentation from the marketing people as well as the VP of social responsibility. They have an amazing office and we had lunch there and really just spent some time there. One of the women who work there actually went to JWU Providence a while back and that is how we got the connection to go there. After that we went to the Vasa Museum. Many years ago, some divers came across a Dutchman ship; it was whole, which is pretty amazing. They brought it up and fully restored it and it is now in the Vasa Museum, it is enormous! So we spent a couple of hours here looking at the boat and learning about it and all that jazz. After that we decided to go to TGI Fridays, which I would never go to at home, but I have been dying for some chicken fingers as you can imagine I have been eating weird food for a month.Strangely, this was like the most expensive item on the menu, but I wanted them so bad I did not care. After that we headed back to the hotel and just crashed.I have been moving stuff around in my suitcases and throwing stuff away since I got here with the hopes that I can keep my bags under 50 pounds. I might be pushing it, but I hope it is close enough. So, I worked on my suitcase and then just kind of visited everyone and chilled out for the rest of the night.Today, we had to do our last class in the hotel. We had presentations and we did an evaluation of the program. This lasted about 4 hours, but it was pretty cool.I am so happy we are finally done! After that we had some free time and I had to pick up some gifts so we went to Old Town and went shopping for like an hour.We have mastered the bus route and metro in the 3 days we have been here so it was a breeze! We met back at the hotel around 3 and we went to McCann Advertising which does the advertising for TellaSonera which is where we went yesterday. In our presentation room they had wine, beer, soda, candy, chips, and legos. This was the coolest ad agency we have been to yet..I just might have to move here! Every office we have been to on this trip is so cool and relaxed. They all have modern design themes and the people are all wearing jeans and they are so cute! There are no cubicles or boring pictures..it is like stuff I would decorate my home with!So we were there for a couple of hours and then we did about an hour of shopping and then we met at Café Milan for our farewell dinner..which was really good.We had a great time on this trip and I really am going to miss all of the people I have been spending every waking second of the day with. I have been looking back at the month and no matter how much I wanted it to fly by, it didn't, but I am glad it didn't.I really got to know some great people really learn that I can be independent and on my own far away from home and be ok. I had no breakdowns and no tearful nights, I really enjoyed myself.I want to go home so bad, but I want home to come to me.When comparing Denmark to the US, it kind of makes me not want to live there. It is so nice to get up, walk out the door and go wherever I want to whenever I want and not have to get in a car and make a long ride, deal with traffic and mean people. Here, everyone has a great time all the time, not just on weekends or special occasions, it is like a happy life all the time, and I am jealous of that! I think if I could bring all the people I loved at home here I could live here the rest of my life.I definitely would move here in a heart beat if it weren't for missing everyone from home.I definitely think I could find a job here=) Anyway, it is about 9:30 and I am about to end my journey. I am getting in a taxi at 8am and then on a flight home at 10:40.Hopefully I will be back in Charlotte around 5:00pm! It has been a great trip and I hope everyone enjoyed reading about my trip!
