After waiting on Liam to finally wake we got in our taxi van and headed to the airport. No dramas getting checked in, boarded and seated. Catie enjoyed the flight and Liam ate snacks and watched octonauts and Blinky Bill. A short car trip and we arrived at the recently elected Clive Palmers resort. Massive dinosaurs, crocs and pools await. Catie napped while Suzie did a quick supermarket trip for the necessities. All the toys are blown up and we are about to head for our afternoon swim.
Swim was great, Liam loves the water and is super confident and be can now swim 3 metres arms and legs flapping. Catie is another story, won't go closer than a metre to the pool and screams if you carry her in... could be a long holiday in Queensland. As we warmed in the sun after the swim Suzie grabbed a couple of cocktails to signify the holiday is underway.
Dinner was Salmon pizza and prawn pizza with the awesome auntie Rhian and uncle Kieren and their daughter Tori. Tori is full of beans and ready for action - more than capable of keeping Rhi on her toes. Back to the room and Tori fell into the hot bath, mild panic followed by all 3 in the bath for a play. Then it was lights out for the second generation as the first hooked into some much deserved alcohol!
