This morning we were on the road early to visit Underwater World in Mooloolaba. The fish, turtles and sharks were loved by the kids. Liam loved the sharks, Catie was quite smitten with the turtles. The afternoon was spent by the pool. Catie is gaining confidence by the pool. Today she took 2 steps into the pool, came to daddy, then stood on the second step. There were big giggles and fun!

Today was a bit miserable on the weather front so we opted for a road trip and some shopping. Up to Noosa first for a walk through the shops, then into the hinterland to visit Mapleton. On our way to breakfast we stumbled across several kangaroos, one was particularly friendly and close and Catie took quite a liking to it. Pool in the morning with Rhian, Kieren and Tori. After waiting on Liam to finally wake we got in our taxi van and headed to the airport. No dramas getting checked in, boarded and seated. Catie enjoyed the flight and Liam ate snacks and watched octonauts and Blinky Bill. A short car trip and we arrived at the recently elected Clive Palmers resort.
