Day 17 - stone town Today is the day of our flights out of Africa! We are so excited for Asia! I had packed my bags the night before so while Michael did his in the morning I went and had breakfast on the roof and read our Thailand book. We had to check out of our room at 10am, and our flight was not until 4.30pm. So we spent the morning sitting around the hotel watching tv. Day 16 - stone town Came back to stone town feeling a bit worse for wear! Went to the same hotel we had stayed at with the tour and got a room and went straight to bed. Woke up and went for lunch which was a real struggle so came back to the hotel to bed again afterwards.

Day 15 - Kendwa Today was our final day at the beach in Zanzibar. We had to switch rooms in our hotel because when we arrived, they did not have one room for five nights, so we checked out of our room and into the new room. It was a cheaper room and for some reason, bigger and nicer! After the room check out we had some lunch and had planned to walk along the beach back to nungwi. Day 14 - Kendwa We were woken at 1am by some African men banging on our door looking for an English guy who owed them money. We didn't open the door but they wanted us to prove we wernt the person they were looking for because of our "uk voices". They eventually gave up but I was really scared they would come back and took a while to fall back to sleep. So we had a bit of a long lie before heading out for lunch on the beach. Day 12 and 13 - Kendwa Today we spent our time walking around, to find that there's not much to Kendwa at all. So the whole day and the day after were spent relaxing, reading our books, eating and having some drinks. And that is about as exciting as it gets!
