Protest?! After visiting the Grand Palace today (it was beautiful by the way), we accidentally ended up in what our news channels like to call a protest. It was definitely more like a carnival! Three friends arrived today - Ruth, Beth and Charlie. We tried to visit the Golden Palace but it was closed for some reason :-| Fortunately we came across a nice man who organised an hour long boat ride through the city for us. We did see the Palace while on the tour, along with many river houses and temples. I video recorded a fair amount so I will also upload those soon :-) Early night tonight in prep for an early flight tomorrow!

Pretty sure I'm going to have to travel Asia now. It's amazing, love Thailand already. Went on a Tuktuk tour today, saw the Big Buddah, a couple of Buddhist temples and went to a Thai clothes factory - all for £1.40! We sat in one temple, on the floor with our shoes off of course.. a monk was there to talk and pray to/with people who waited quietly.
