2 nights in Berlin and we've had a great time. Tried various 'German Market' type drinks, German sausages, seen some sights and even some museums! A very Christmassy experience and developed an interest in the history of Berlin. Highly likely to come back to visit, maybe next time in the summer though! For now, it is home time.

It seems we did well for choice of location. Just off the Main street of Charlottenburg; Christmas markets, shops, restaurants and Ka De We.. a huge department store with 6 floors! We didn't go in there but it was cool to see :-)

So we arrive at the airport in plenty of time just to find that BA have overbooked and we won't be boarding our 7:05 flight, instead we will now be on the 8:40. What this means is: More time for beer and duty free A £198 compensation pay Less time wasted in Germany waiting to check in to our hotel BRILLIANT!! Thank you British Airways

Day 2 at Sziget Festival - what a day it was. Beautiful sunshine, various art galleries, lots of Hungarian food, drink and shisha, a Ferris wheel and an incredible show from Deadmau5!! This island has so much going on, we haven't even seen half of it yet. Looking forward to sharing the photos with you all :-)
