Hello again,
There are two French ladies, sitting in front of me about to eat. They just told me they were at the Church way back { St Pierre) when I forgot my hat and had to return, (discovering at the same time that I had gone in the wrong direction by about 2 Ks.) I have become attached to this hat, obsessively so! Therefore I apologise to the Lord for not taking it off when I visit a church.
One sad aspect of the walk so far is there have been no Masses, as on the Spanish- almost every day . So I have been saying Mass in my room with and for my virtual community.
More tomorrow.
Jim
In the meantime, here's a video blog of September 21st - On the road to Cahors

Why am I walking?
I walk for Wilai (and many like her), a young girl living in Thailand who is parentless, homeless and stateless and bereft of all those gifts I have enjoyed and took for granted.
Will you walk with me along the way by sponsoring me to help provide Wilai (and other stateless children), with a future that offers hope, love, care and a place she can call home? www.walkforwilai.com.au

Wendy Dixon The "no masses" part is so sad to me, that and locked church doors. O Lord, awaken your church, awaken your creatures to the reality, magnificence, and love of You.
