Today started on a high note; Mom got her camera back! Excluding the convention itself, today has been the most incredible, encouraging, and just plain fun day of the trip so far. That is especially surprising considering how it started. We had only two things scheduled: a morning walking tour around Dublin and then something referred to as Evening Entertainment (we weren't totally sure what that meant). The convention has come and gone, and far too quickly. It has been wonderful to wake up and simply walk a few hundred feet to the auditorium. No commute, and plenty of time for association with all the friends. All three days were eventful, and I'll try to hit on the highlights without ruining anything for those that haven't yet gone. Friday was a great program with plenty of heartwarming experiences and even a few new releases (no more on that, wait your turn!)...

I had no problem sleeping all through the night, and thoroughly enjoyed my desperately-needed 14 hours. But the alarm went off at 8AM, and off we went into the ministry. But not before breakfast of course (Brittany wouldn't tolerate that...) Our breakfast table was a treasure-trove of experience. Some were from Germany, others from Kenya. The couple from Kenya were graduates of the 43rd class of Gilead, and had flown all the way from Nairobi. Talk about a climate...
