Sunday's are special in Merida, known for neighborhood markets and a carnival atmosphere. Yesterday was mostly a transit day so (thankfully) there isn't much to say. We had a late breakfast at the hotel before driving an hour and a half to our rental house in the center of Merida. This trip has been a long time in the making and I'm excited to finally be here.
