Arrived in Darwin early Monday morning, had a very interesting walk around the City (small but loved the people) Tuesday 06:00 had a Day's tour of Kakada a World heritage National Park (bigger than Switzerland) had a flight over it saw stunning waterfalls Jim Jim is the photo. Also had a river boat trip spotted 7 crocs the biggest over 5 metres long and probably 60 years old he looked mean with scars on his snout. We thought Darwin and Kakado were great. Flew to Cairns Wed, Thurs had a day at Daintree Forest which was ok but I think we were disappointed after Kakado. Darwin and Cairns had great pools by the beach Darwin had wave pool and park and picnic/barbecue area they can't swim in the sea for 6 months of the year because of the deadly box jellyfish (stingers) there are also more saltwater croc's now as they're a protected species. Townsville tonight and onto Airlie Beach for 4 days. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all. John & Gail
