Oh well up early again, and off to Melbourne Airport for our flight to Uluru (Ayres Rock) once checked in we sorted a couple of tours, then listened to an Aborigine tell some tales outside the Cultural Centre and inside to a talk on deep space (GA's really interested in this subject) We rose at 04:00 Saturday to watch the sun rise as the first rays light up Uluru not good as it was cloudy (it's supposed to be their summer) then on to Kata Tjuta a group of rocks bigger and taller than Uluru, back 10ish light breakfast then a couple of hours kip. That afternoon had a ride around the rock and a walk to one of the water hole's and saw some rock paintings had a great guide who was very passionate about the Aboriginal culture, experienced the changing colours as the sun went down and had a nice barbecue under the stars with a Dingo wandering around, tiring but might of been the lovely Aussie wine they kept putting in our glasses.
