Fri 8th June Woken up early at 6am by a terrific rain storm, it beat off the roof with an almighty noise. Had a unintentional lie in til 10:30, he he he. Up and breakfasted (oats, apple and yoghurt, yum yum) then we quickly assembled some sandwiches for a picnic. (Love a jam sandwich for a picnic). Tue 5th June 7am. Up and out (tipsy) for an early check out - in doing so we confused the old maintenance guy. His face was a gawping picture. A morning walk along the river to the bus stop, on the way we saw a 4-5 foot minotor lizard in the water! Another magical morning moment.
